Talvez tenha sido da entrada no novo ano e dei por mim numa fase de reorganização da casa e, sobretudo, de limpar, deitar fora ou dar aquilo que realmente não usamos ou estava esquecido num armário e guardar apenas o que nos faz falta ou é essencial.

Fazer este exercício é não só útil e prático mas acaba também por ter um efeito muito benéfico para a minha mente. Organizar os roupeiros e os móveis, desfazer-me daquilo que está a mais ou do que na verdade já não me seduz e cingir-me à filosofia de um ambiente simples e limpo e do menos é mais, tem-se revelado verdadeiramente enriquecedor e terapêutico para o meu bem estar.

Não se trata apenas de reformular mas de reinventar o nosso estilo de vida e focar-nos no que é realmente necessário.

Pelo meio das arrumações descobri esta camisola maravilhosa do Nuno que ele quase nunca usou - ao que parece as golas altas interferem com a barba farta dele - e agarrei-a para mim porque além de bonita e de muito boa qualidade é incrivelmente confortável e quente para este frio. Foi uma das poucas coisas de que não me desfiz e acho que valeu a pena porque é incrivelmente versátil para conjugar, seja com jeans ou com um saia de cetim como esta de padrão leopardo - algo que estive largos meses a ponderar se valeria a pena investir e a verdade é que ainda bem que o fiz porque é realmente bonita e assenta incrivelmente bem.

Doing this exercise is not only useful and practical, but it also has a very beneficial effect on my mind. Organizing the wardrobes and furniture, letting go of stuff in excess or that in fact no longer seduces me and stick to the philosophy of a simple and clean environment and also less is more, has proved to be truly enriching and therapeutic for my well being.

It is not just about reformulating, it's about reinventing our lifestyle and focusing on what's really necessary.

In the middle of the cleanup I discovered this wonderful sweater that belonged to Nuno that he almost never wore - apparently the high collars interfere with his long beard - and I grabbed it for me because besides being pretty and of very good quality it's incredibly comfortable and warm. It was one of the few things I didn't throw and I think it was worth it because it's incredibly versatile to combine, whether with jeans or a satin skirt like this leopard print one - something I've been pondering for months if it would be worth investing and the truth is that it's a good thing I did because it's really beautiful and it fits incredibly well.
