O Ela Canela esta sob a mão do Nélson, quem já conheço há alguns e bons anos, e da namorada Joana. Foi com alguma surpresa que soube desta nova aventura mas assim que o Nélson me explicou o conceito percebi que era mesmo o tipo de restaurante que tinha tudo a ver comigo. E se ainda continua a ler estas palavras, acredite que terá tudo a ver consigo também.
Neste espaço, minuciosamente escolhido pela imensa luz natural que tem e decorado de forma minimalista e clean, vai encontrar comida saudável com recurso a ingredientes bio, locais e sazonais. As opções da carta são variadas e inusitadas e nos pratos e no sabor sente-se a paixão pela criação na cozinha.
De todos os pratos que experimentei, não houve um único que não tenha adorado. Os ingredientes unem-se e fundem-se impecavelmente pensados para estimular o palato e faz-nos apenas ter vontade de experimentar mais.
Aqui há claramente uma preocupação pela origem dos ingredientes e pela forma como são confeccionados. A filosofia é uma de sustentabilidade e coesão e procuram fugir às modas que vão e vêm tentando, ao invés, cativar pela qualidade e originalidade. Filosofia que, como sabem, é a mesma que eu sigo desde sempre.
Tenho a certeza que este é um espaço que veio para ficar. Se procuram qualidade, sabor e ao mesmo tempo tranquilidade então este é o restaurante que têm de conhecer.

Ela Canela is under the hands of Nélson, whom I have known for some years, and his girlfriend Joana. It was with some surprise that I learned of this new adventure but as soon as Nélson explained the concept I realized that it was really the kind of restaurant that had everything to do with me. And if you are still reading these words, believe me it's all about you too.
In this space, carefully chosen by the immense natural light that it has and decorated in a minimalist and clean way, you will find healthy food using bio, local and seasonal ingredients. The menu options are varied and unusual and both in the dishes and the flavor one feels the passion for the creation in the kitchen.
Of all the options I have tried, there hasn't been a single one I haven't liked it. The ingredients unite and blend together impeccably well thought to stimulate the palate and makes us just want to experience more.
In here there is clearly a concern about the origin of the ingredients and the way they are made. The philosophy is one of sustainability and cohesion and they seek to escape the fashions that come and go trying, instead, to captivate by choosing quality and originality. Philosophy which, as you know, is the same as I have always followed.
I am sure that this is a space that has come to stay. If you are looking for quality, taste and at the same time tranquility then this is the restaurant you must meet.
