O convite chegou pelo Room 007 Hostels e eu sabia que era a oportunidade perfeita para um fim de semana romântico para descansar e namorar.
E assim rumámos a Madrid com uma lista curta de locais obrigatórios e restaurantes típicos.
Madrid é uma cidade vibrante e contagiante, com recantos cheios de história e pedaços de cultura que permanecem inalterados no tempo.

The invitation came through Room 007 Hostels and I knew it was the perfect opportunity for a romantic weekend to relax and just enjoy the both of us.
And so we headed to Madrid with a short list of mandatory places and typical restaurants.
Madrid is a vibrant and contagious city with corners full of history and pieces of culture that remain unchanged in time.
O hostel está localizado mesmo no centro o que permite caminhar e chegar rapidamente a imensos pontos de interesse.
É um hostel bastante sofisticado e moderno com um aspeto extremamente limpo. O quarto em que ficámos - um Superior Double room - é muito giro, com uma decoração retro e bastante espaçoso, com casa de banho privativa, A/C, televisão, produtos de higiene, secador e wifi.
As meninas que nos receberam são extremamente simpáticas e atenciosas e prontificaram-se desde logo a oferecer-nos um mapa e marcar alguns pontos a visitar.

The hostel is located right in the center which allows you to quickly reach several points of interest.
It is a very sophisticated and modern hostel with an extremely clean look. The room we stayed in - a Superior Double room - is very nice, with a retro decor and quite spacious, with private bathroom, A/C, TV, toiletries, hairdryer and wifi.
The girls who welcomed us are extremely friendly and attentive and immediately offered to give us a map and mark some points to visit.
Com pouco tempo e porque queríamos andar descontraídos, visitámos apenas alguns dos locais mais interessantes e caminhámos pelas ruas bonitas e muito movimentadas de Madrid.

With little time and because we wanted to be relaxed, we visited only some of the most interesting places and walked through the beautiful and very busy streets of Madrid.
Dos meus pontos de eleição destaco a Plaza Mayor, a Chocolateria San Ginés e a Libreria localizada na mesma rua e claro o Palácio de Cristal.
Quanto aos locais para comer, optámos por abraçar a cultura das Tapas e destaco com nota muito positiva o Malaspina, Tapas e Vynos e o fabuloso Mercado de San Miguel que, apesar de mesmo muito movimentado, tem uma oferta incrível de tapas, doces e bebidas.

From my election points I highlight the Plaza Mayor, Chocolateria San Ginés and the Libreria located in the same street and of course the Crystal Palace.
As for the places to eat, we chose to embrace the culture of the Tapas and I would like to emphasize with a very positive note the Malaspina, Tapas and Vynos and the fabulous San Miguel Market which, although very busy, has an incredible offer of tapas, sweets and drinks .
